I loved the concept, the structure, the opening, and the last line of the story. I confess I skimmed over many of the conversations between the daughters. (I suspect they appeal more to women readers.)

Beautifully written. Just enough reality to set it above the usual fantasy, sci-fi writing. Could imagine fitting in there myself.

To George up above: If you skip the conversations you miss half the story. :)
